Gazzi is the extraordinary vineyard where La Cadalora produces its
select Pinot Grigio.
Average production is 3 metric tons per acre. Winemaking is classic;
fermentation and storage take place partly in oak and partly in stainless
steel.
After a year the wine is bottled and further aged for other 12 months
before release.
Gazzi has scents recalling flint and high mountain hay.
Its taste is dry, moderately acidic, full-bodied. It is a wine that
can well endure 7-8 years ageing.
